Cake Icing Recipe

This recipe is simple and great for cupcakes and cakes.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup softened butter
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 3 cups sifted confectioner’s sugar
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Mix butter, shortening and vanilla with an electric mixer. Add the sugar and mix. Last add the milk and mix until combined. You can add any food color if needed to the icing.
