A while ago I made caramel cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I also realized that I never shared these cupcakes on my blog. Now I found myself looking for the recipe again, because they were so easy to make and had tons of flavor. Who does not like peanut butter frosting? Well, my daughter does not, but that just gives us more cupcakes to eat, right?
I finally found the recipe in my baking recipe book “Cupcake” by Shelly Kaldunski. I made the cupcakes exactly as the recipe stated and they turned out great. I piped the peanut butter frosting in a simple swirl with a round pastry tip.
Next, I will try salted cupcakes or cupcakes with a mini candy bar baked in the middle. I just had to share the pictures and I am looking forward to baking these little treats again and this time with a little twist.
